Nordic B delivers precision and efficiency with two state-of-the-art Weinig planing machines, ensuring high quality finish for every board. With a production capacity of up to 20,000 m³/year per shift for Thermowood and 39,000 m³/year per shift for KD sawn, our planing service is designed to meet both large-scale and specific needs. The second production line stands as a guarantee for on-time deliveries, whether it’s Scandinavian softwood or Canadian larch.

Grading

At Nordic B, timber beauty starts with the precision and expertise of Nordic grading rules, as outlined in the trusted Grey Book. For Thermowood, we adhere grading rules established by the International Thermowood Association, ensuring superior durability, consistency, and aesthetic appeal. Additionally, grading by ALSC for the U.S. market or EN 14081 for European markets is available.

Brushing and oiling

An advanced finishing process that transforms timber into true Nordic Beauty. By gently removing the softer earlywood layers, this technique enhances the wood's natural texture, creating a beautifully rustic and tactile appearance.
